Grading Teacher, What Do You Think?

                  16 years we have passed our journey of life, day by day we always find someone that teach us something and I believe we cant count the sum of our teachers, because of them we can do anything and we can know anything just like now, but most of us think that a teacher is only the one who teach us in school and do not consider the another one, moreover most of us easily forget their teacher in the previous school, don’t they realize how big their contribution on their life?

                Every teacher has his/her own way to teach his/her students some of them are very discipline, tolerant or in the middle of those both, teacher also has his/her own character that affect his/her way to teach just like loud voice, mumble voice, humorist, temperament, etc. however they are, their goal are the same that is to make us become master on their lesson, there are no teacher that have a bad objective to us that’s why we have to respect them and understand them. The problem now is many students grade their teacher, is it good or bad? Here we are. By grading our teacher we can know more the detail and can classify them based on their character so we can know what thing that we can do and what thing that we cant do to them, just like to temperament teachers we must keep patient and do not make them angry. And it can make the communication and transfer knowledge process will be better rather than if we don’t know the character of each teacher.

 But we however is it judging teachers are something that impolite and shows that we do not have any gratitude after what did they give to us, you can imagine how will your feeling be when your student say “owh this teacher is very cruel not just like miss X that very kind and love us” I believe that you will be down or moreover you will get angry to that student, then if we too much grading our teacher it can affect our paradigm to them we can loose our trust and enthusiasm to some teachers or even hate them and obviously  it will affect our performance on his/her lesson. On my own opinion grading a teacher is allowed if we have a good reason why do we need to do it, and after grading them we have to be brave to suggest or give them advice what thing that need to be changed or improved on the way they teach us so the teacher can introspect their selves and better class will be formed.

A New Leader for a New Hope

As a democracy country public election is something that must be held by our government because of this election will prove the democracy definition based on Abraham Lincoln theory that’s of the people, by the people and for the people. Of the people means that all of the candidates are from the people itself, by the people means that that election is done by the people itself and for the people means that everything that will be done by the selected people are dedicated for the people. Those are show that people inside of that country have the highest authority on that country, but does the fact say the same?

                On our country election will be held once in 5 years whether we choose president, governor, or a regent. And each level usually has different time. People put a big hope by that selection because of they will choose a best leader that will become a captain for their region toward and be able to make a big change, but many people also has aphetic thought because of too often laid by the candidates, they always give many promises during the campaign time but that was only an empty promise that never realized by them during their time being a leader.

                That was the evidence of the unfair election process, let’s look to the election process to choose  Jakarta’s Governor  that have just done on several days ago, we often hear or read a bad news about that election process, it has become a special flavor that won’t be perfect without it. The first problem is related to the DPC (voters list) this problem make some people can’t choose the candidates although actually they have right to choose, it can make the candidate’s vote less. Money politic also become a big issue on every election some in recent years candidate’s team buy the people’s vote by give them money and badly they choose that candidate to become their leader, we also often hear about black campaign, what is that? That’s a campaign that done by candidates to bring down other candidates they usually mock the other candidates so their name will be bad on the citizen. And there are no significant improvement if we compare it from the first election.

                How can we say that our election is fair if easily we find a problem there, that is our job to make our election become fair because of election is serve us a new page of life. Our country’s fate is determined on that day, will it better or worse is on our hand, we are the one who decides it, keep spirit for a better Indonesia.

A Loyal Friend Named Computer

As the year change the technology also always develop and that is a something that we should proud of it. 1000 years ago our ancestor must walk and spend some hours to take 20 km journey and now we can pass it only a few minutes by plane and that one is example of the advantage of technology development. Now we will focus our discussion to computer, just the same as vehicle above computer also always develop, the first time computer made was hundreds kilogram and now we can find easily a kilogram laptop or tablet and that one support the objective of technology to help human’s activity so we can bring it wherever we want.

By those development computer act as the same as our best friend it will always beside us however our condition, when we need entertainment we can hear music or watch movie there, we need information we just turn it on and connect to internet, when we have no money to print some files we can read it digitally there and many things else that we can get from a computer. I can’t imagine more how will it be if there no computer on our life, there will be no facebook, twitter, kompas.com, and the other useful website, except it we have to write word by word every duty that given by our teacher and also we won’t know anything outside of our area obviously that’s a terrible thing for us. As the topic’s question are we too dependent on computer? Confidently I answer yes, just look around of you how many hours does your friend use computer? I am sure that more than 3 hours will be spent with computer. and I can say that we have became addicted with computer. we will prefer to type in laptop rather than write by our hand to do an assignment, we will prefer to search in internet rather than go to library and read a book there, and those are fact.

However as the future leader we have to use computer wisely, why? Because of many people outside don’t have computer they still live in a primitive area that untouched by technology we are lucky to have it. Computer also be able to give some bad effects for us such as eyestrain if we spend too much time in front of it, low social ability because we never meet someone face to face, make us lazy because of we are too dependent on it, those are why we have to use it wisely if we can do it by ourselves why must we use computer.

A Nightmare Called Homework, is it?

Homework, a word that seem interesting if we see it from it’s meaning but it has different meaning if we look it from the fact that we face, yap every students from the whole of the world will have a different feeling when hear that word it can be a love gift from their teacher, a heavy stone, disaster or even a chain that string their body and now the question is what makes those differences happen? Is it the sum of the homework, the kind of the homework or probably their own paradigm? Yah everyone have their own reason.

Many people are debating, does homework helpful or harmful? One hand homework’s objective is very good that is to deepen student’s understanding about a topic, as we know that we have many chapters and materials that we have to finish on few months that’s why it seems impossible to finish it all at the school hour or probably the students only get the general one and know nothing the extended of that topic, that’s why homework also important to increase the students knowledge. Homework also be able to minimize leisure time owned by the students it’s better for them to study rather than play a game, show up even fight with another gang.

But many student don’t understand about that reason, most of them hate it as the same as when they asked to do rodi work, and so do I. I believe that every student will have the same thought although they pretend to say that homework is gratify for them because of homework always snatch our free time and we wont have time to relax or even play with friend which is a teenage right and that one be able to train as to be individual people and inactive people. By too many homework we also won’t care about anything else because homework become the priority one, we won’t prepare for the tomorrow’s lesson even an exam because of we will be scolded by our teacher if we don’t do our homework and it won’t happen if we get a low score in exam and the most extreme thing is we wont have time to help our parents and probably we will become a seditious student because of too happy doing our own homework, do you want to be someone like them?

Yes that’s true that our obligation as a student is to study but must we spend the whole day to study and let homework consume our life? Obviously the answer is not because of we have the other obligation that we must do. A wise solution is to control the sum of the homework in a day so we will have time to do the other thing because not only intellectual intelligence that we need in our future that’s why we have to learn the other intelligence to make a bright future.
